March followed the trend of last month. Still reeling from having to strip the VW bus, I continued working on other projects. The 70 Superbird chassis and engine were completed. I dusted off my wildly long term diecast Civic project by grinding off the last of the previous paint attempt and reworking some of the body work.
I was able to finish the repair work on the bus and primed it in hopes of having it in color soon.
The Superbird chassis was completed and looking great!
Other than the carburetor and air cleaner, the engine is complete and secured to the chassis.
I love seeing the completed interior hiding inside the “in progress” shell.
The bus body repairs are primed in order to check the progress.
The body work on the bus looked good enough and it was time to prime the entire body.
I started the die-cast civic in 2005. I have been very reluctant to finish it. During this round, I reworked some of the older body work.
The ’68 Vette hood is in color again as well.
Project cars to date.
