Happy Spring! Haha, just kidding. Although we had moments of nice weather, we’ve had very winter like weather.

Exciting news for our family! We’re in the early stages of building a new house. With the help of our builder, we were able to find a lot and agreed to buy it. More to come on that as the project unfolds.

Dana and I went out to dinner to celebrate.

Our lot is heavily wooded, just the way we like it. We look forward to continuing our life together in our now home.

Also in April:

Lee and I along with the rest of our team travelled to Florida to compete in a Champ Car race at the Daytona Speedway. We completed 7 hours of the 14 hour race before mechanical failure. Even with the failure, we all had a great time and reveled in the fact that we just ran on Daytona!

Packing up the next day, I took a picture to catch how ominous the clouds looked. It was a not very Florida like 65 degrees.

Lee and I made it back just in time to Celebrate my 44th birthday!

The following weekend, I ran my first autocross with my local region. Unfortunately, Junior Kart is still on hiatus due to safety issues but that didn’t slop Luke from riding with me and having a good time!
