We started the month out with a soccer game on a cold weekend morning.

Dana bundled for the soccer game.

Celebrating Alex’s 42nd birthday

We celebrated Easter by having a couple of Easter egg hunts and dinner. The follow week, we celebrated Orthodox Easter.

The kids were eager to find eggs!

The weather warmed by the middle of the month and Luke was able to go to park with his friends.

Then it decided to get cold and snow at the end of April.

This is the end of April. Booo!

Never-ending winter.

During February, we celebrated Anna’s 7th birthday. Dana and I went to the Chicago Auto Show during the media preview. Later in the month, Luke, Dana and I attended the INR-SCCA awards banquet were Luke and I both won trophies for the classes we ran last year.

During June, Luke tried his hand at mowing. It looks like I’m going to have a helper soon! I’m always happy to see Luke’s creativity. He took scrap wood and made faces with them…see them in the pics below. He also loves to set up elaborate scenes as you can see in the various battle scenes he staged with his army guys. We also shot off his first rocket! It was a successful launch until it landed high up in a tree…I managed to get it down after a rather hairy effort. Luke and I visited our friend Jeremy and did a little finishing.
