We started the month out with a soccer game on a cold weekend morning.

Dana bundled for the soccer game.

Celebrating Alex’s 42nd birthday

We celebrated Easter by having a couple of Easter egg hunts and dinner. The follow week, we celebrated Orthodox Easter.

The kids were eager to find eggs!

The weather warmed by the middle of the month and Luke was able to go to park with his friends.

Then it decided to get cold and snow at the end of April.

This is the end of April. Booo!

Never-ending winter.

During Luke’s spring break, I took a couple of days off and we went to visit the Adler Planetarium. I hadn’t been there since I was in grade school! Finally, after years of thinking of going, I took Luke. I was pleasantly surprised by the experience. The museum was well kept, fresh and relevant. Luke and I also took our RC trucks to the local RC race track and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves over the nearly 3 hours we were there.

During February, we celebrated Anna’s 7th birthday. Dana and I went to the Chicago Auto Show during the media preview. Later in the month, Luke, Dana and I attended the INR-SCCA awards banquet were Luke and I both won trophies for the classes we ran last year.

Later in the month, Luke’s robotics group had their second competition.
