Honda Civic EJ Coupe – USCP

My first car was a 1995 Honda Civic Coupe. It was never modeled as a coupe. There were models of the hatchback and 4 door. When I saw that USCP made a trans kit to build a coupe, I couldn’t buy it fast enough!

The kit arrived but had the wrong interior. They quickly sent me the correct piece. Otherwise, the details were excellent. The starting point for this kit was a Hasegawa Civic SiR hatchback.

For the wheels, I bought a set of Buddy Club resin wheels which are fairly close to the Kosei K1 wheels I had on my 1 to 1.

The body was painted with automotivetouchup.com Milano Red paint.

The interior was quick work.

Nearly ready for final assembly!

Back in the, I ran a hood bra and actually found a resin version in scale. I had to use it to finish the look.

The finished model is an excellent approximation of the 1:1 that I had.
